Your Life, Stir it your way!
Sometimes we struggle through a tasteless coffee until the last sip, and find sugar lying merely dissolved at the bottom.
Most of us must have experienced such things may be most of the times we drink coffee, because we were busy thinking about something else while having the coffee. At that time, may be, we do not care about its taste. We just drink to satisfy our mind, that “we had coffee”.
And with the finishing coffee, we also stop thinking. What do we find here? The conclusion or the decision of those thoughts? May be. Or maybe not. But what we would definitely see are those sugar cubes lying at the bottom of the cup… unmelted and unmixed!
The overthinkers might agree with me over this.
Let’s go through some real experiences.
Once, a mother and her son were having their morning coffee in the garden. Both, while having coffee, were reading the newspaper. When the coffee was served, mom kept newspaper aside and began to make her coffee just the way she wanted. She added some sugar cubes to make her coffee tastes good and then she enjoyed the coffee continuing to read the newspaper.
But son, without bothering about amount of coffee or sugar or milk in his coffee, continued reading newspaper when coffee was served, and had it till the last sip.
When both finished coffee, mom felt really fresh and said, “Coffee really made this morning fresh.” But son didn’t like his coffee. When he finished his coffee, he found sugar cubes lying at the bottom, unmelted. He understood that as he didn’t stir his coffee well, he did not got its taste just as he wanted.
That empty cup was useful for the son to understand a fact of life that, “We have to stir our life really well to get its best taste in just the way we want it to taste”.
Don’t take any matter silly. If, in case, the matter is silly, make it more interesting. Don’t underestimate any situation because nothing is interesting in life, if you are not interested.
When we get new thing in hand, we tend to keep it the way we are at that particular stage. Don’t keep it the way it is, either you change according to the situation or change the situation according to you. Just make it interesting. That what counts.
Life is really very interesting. Don’t make it complex. Just stir it well to get the best taste.
